Youth Spring Series

E-mail Print

On 11th April the new Youth Spring Series got underway at Hunts Sailing Club in bright sunshine with plenty of wind. These races enable our youth sailors to get on the water in their own Youth Spring Series 2010series, alongside club racing. The Spring Series will run every Sunday until 30th May with the best 10 results to be counted. The Summer Series will then follow from 6th June until 29th August and the Autumn Series from 6th September until 31st October.

10 Competitors turned out for the first event and the two girls, Sarah Alcock and Grace Moffatt, got off to a fantastic start and are currently in the lead.

It is hoped that as many of our youth sailors as possible are able to join in with these races over the coming months and with the best 10 results from over 20 races to count it will be easy to qualify, even for those who can't get to the club every week.

Click here to see the results or select "Results" on the main menu.
